Marketing Tips
Posters are intended for display, and bold images and colors attract and draw people in.

     • Use eye catching colors, but make sure your colors complement any images used, and that the overall design is readable
     • Use high resolution images – at least 300 dpi.
     • Add a QR Code! This allows someone to scan the code and read information later, or easily send information to a friend.

Sizes
The standard poster sizes, below, are the most popular in the industry, however custom sizes are always available. We can print a large format poster up to 42” in width.

     • 8.5" x 11"
     • 11" x 17"
     • 12" x 18"
     • 18" x 24"
     • 24" x 36"
     • 36” x 48”

If you are getting a large format poster (18” x 24” or larger), it will be printed on 100 lb. satin photo paper. We can also mount or laminate your posters. To order a large format poster, click here.

If you are getting a poster that is 12” x 18” or smaller, you have some choice in paper stocks. Cover weight stocks, such as a 100 or 80 lb. cover, are thicker, and can be glossy or matte. Text weight stocks, such as 80 lb. or 100 lb. text, are more flexible, and can also be glossy or matte. 100 lb. gloss text paper is similar to the cover of a magazine. File Preparation

In order to ensure your files are print-ready, we recommend that you upload them in PDF format. Please click here to see our full FAQ on setting up your file. We also accept .JPG (JPEG), .EPS and .TIF (TIFF) file types, however PDF is the preferred format.
